Role Playing

Role Playing

Role playing is one of children’s first ways to play in a group. It gives the child a way to work their feelings , accept and assign roles and act them out, helping them to make sense of the world.

In our classrooms we have many opportunities to invite children to play make-believe, such as “kitchen corner”, “doctor set”, “dolls”, “puppets” as well as songs such as “Grizzly bear”, “There was a princess long ago” and “Miss Polly” .

Children have a blast playing with their friends  whether working in the classroom or in the playground!

Have a look…
