Investigations in Alpha Sigma and Omega

Investigations in Alpha

In the second term our children have been bringing new elements for our classrooms.
With their input we chose a theme and together we are learning more and more.

Alpha Sigma

Alpha Sigma has chosen to know more about fruits.
We have had the opportunity to open some fruits, and explored them in different ways.
Their size, weight, smell, texture, taste... One of our favourite ways of learning is to observe what happens to their seeds after planting or putting them in the water.
Come to visit our classroom and see what has been happening to our experiments!!
I am sure you will also learn with us!!

Alpha Omega

Alpha Omega has been investigating "What is in our garden?".

After been asked what they thought  we would find in the school garden, children explored outdoor and discovered many interesting things. For an example they noticed we do not have frogs at school.

Collecting leaves, feathers, rocks and sticks they found on the floor is one of
their favourites activities.

They have been learning about living creatures that habitat our garden, finding little insects
and observing them.
They watched movies of  life cycle of many creepy crawler and the most
interesting for them were ants, worms, bees and and ladybirds.

Here are some pictures of their hard work...
