In the Alphas children have been
learning about colours.
An important
part of a child’s development is recognising and
naming all of them.
There are many ways to learn about colours in a fun way.
Sorting colour flash cards, singing the Rainbow Song, reading stories such as “Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?” by Eric Carle, painting and mixing colours.

Pairing colours is also an
interesting activity for the children to engage in.
How about asking your child
to name different colours in their environment as a game?
Here is a link to one of the songs we
have been singing with children.
